When the world’s largest beer brewer shifts to 100% renewable electricity, it’s cause for celebration.
We created a toolkit for markets to activate renewable energy parties and use solar power to help power bars. These “Light Out Night Out” events were all about harnessing the energy of the crowd to fuel the party - bringing the Budweiser brand to life in an exciting new way.
Be seen. Be shared. Be exciting. Create tools for the trade that would live on after the events to benefit the participating bars.
We were asked to “bring the energy of the brand to life in the trade”. Given the brand’s recent shift to renewable electricity, we used this as the basis of our ideas.
Two-fold: our first priority was to create exciting, Bud-branded launch parties that could scale to different markets. Our second was to ensure the majority of the assets developed would benefit the bar long after the events were over.
