We are on an exciting journey to expand our dynamic medium for brands and retailers to communicate with their customers at the point of purchase in FMCG retail. Operations is a small team but behind the scenes we roll up our sleeves and get it done. We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join the exciting and expanding team in London. You will be tasked with supporting the Operations team on all things Connected Store. We are looking for a passionate, hands-on individual to help support our products operationally, from in-store installation to ongoing monitoring and maintenance. Numeracy, literacy and an eye for detail will mean you can be across the varied work that is part of your every-day. You will have an interest in digital, technological and retail industry trends and bring high energy and enthusiasm into a team dynamic. You will be confident when it comes to all aspects of managing daily operational activities. Your strong communication skills and calm disposition will be an asset in a role that often requires one to engage with a range of project stakeholders. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be prepared to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

A “typical” day might include any of the following:

  • Manage the UK Connected Store support contact number and track call queries
  • Relationship building with Store Managers including calls to address connectivity issues and other ad hoc requests as they arise
  • Monitor Barrows platform, managed ticketing, troubleshoot & resolve issues remotely.
  • Work closely with the Ops team to assign daily support and maintenance tasks and coordinate a network of field technicians and support representatives across the UK
  • Support with remote troubleshooting for installations and maintenance visits
  • Maintain our database of in-store digital assets
  • Assist with campaign creation, scheduling and deployment of content on Barrows platform.
  • Assist with uploading new video content to the Barrows platform and assigning content to units in the trade

Qualifications

  • Passionate about quality, customer experience and customer service excellence
  • A can-do attitude and the willingness to problem solve
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • The aptitude to work autonomously
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and their implementation
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and communicating with external partners and store managers
  • Thorough understanding of G-Suite. Slack and monday.com is a bonus.
